On November 12, 2025, a fire tore through the main building at South River Art Studios, destroying creative workspaces and displacing 40 artists.  Studios, equipment, materials & work was damaged and/or destroyed.  Some artists lost everything.  This has been a tremendous blow to us & our community of artists.  All of the affected artists have been forced to relocate their workspaces or are in the process of finding new workspaces.

In addition to all of this, there were 21 printmaking artists exhibiting work in the gallery art show titled

"En Masse" curated by Chloe Alexander.  Sadly, the artwork sustained irreversible damage by fire, soot, smoke and water.

We are grateful that no one was injured.  We are also thankful for the support from you and the Atlanta community.

If you are able and would like to donate to support these artists, below are two general GFM accounts set up.

Thank you.
