The first photo is the community of artists that created, worked, played, laughed, cried and more at South River Art Studios before the devastating fire that occurred on the morning of November 12, 2025.

The second photo is the aftermath of what was a beautiful printmaking exhibition exhibiting 21 Atlanta artists curated by Chloe Alexander in our gallery. Every piece of artwork was damaged by water, soot and smoke from the fire.

I do not like to ask for much but if you are able and can give any amount of $$ on this #givingtuesday, please consider donating to the general SRAS Artist fund and/or the general Regional Printmakers fund. Links in bio. Many of these artists are still recovering from their loss. Thank you for your support. ❤️

As you know, South River Art Studios suffered a catastrophic fire on the morning of November 12th when several art studios were completely burned and the entire building suffered significant smoke and water damage. This is a devastating loss to the SRAS community both physically and emotionally but the Atlanta arts community has been by our side in support. The flood of support to our community is simply overwhelming and we are grateful to everyone who has reached out to us and donated to our artists’ personal fundraising efforts. This support is critical in restoring artists’ abilities to reestablish their practices and livelihoods.
Adding to the devastation is the loss or damage of many artworks that were hung on our gallery walls as part of a printmaking exhibition titled En Masse. All of the works that were on exhibition in GoGo Gallery were affected in some capacity; most not recoverable.
